Day 48: The Garmin Running Hub — and every Garmin event in 2026

Garmin is the official performance partner of the 40th Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles, and from 21 to 27 April they transformed Café Recup on Hopland into a Garmin meeting place with daily running activities. The daily programme included a 1 Mile Race, training runs with triathlete Marten Van Riel and ultra runner Matthieu Bonne, treadmill challenges and a Medal Monday recovery run the day after the race.

The kicker: win one of the challenges at the Hub, and you walk away with a brand new Garmin Forerunner 570.

Most of these events run some kind of on-site challenge — treadmill sprints, mile races, prediction runs. Show up, sign up at the Garmin stand, and compete. A lot of them give away a Forerunner to the winner, just like the Running Hub in Antwerp.
