MissingMCP is a free, open-source gateway between your Garmin Connect account and an AI assistant. It's hosted, so there's no terminal, no install, and no code.

The setup

1. Copy the MCP URL: https://missingmcp.com/garmin/mcp
2. In Claude, open your connector settings and add it as a custom connector
3. Log in with your Garmin Connect account when prompted

That's genuinely the whole thing. No hacker wizardry — your Garmin password is used once to sign in and then discarded, only encrypted tokens are kept, and the entire project is open source if you want to check for yourself.

What you can ask once it's connected

Once the connector is live, Claude can read your training and health history whenever you ask it something. A few that are genuinely useful:

• "Build me a training schedule to hit [goal] by [date], based on where my data actually shows I am right now"
• "Analyse my sleep over the last two weeks — what's actually driving the bad nights?"
• "How has my resting heart rate trended over the last month, and does it line up with my training load?"
• "Am I overtraining based on the last two weeks?"

The difference versus asking a generic health question is that every answer is grounded in your actual numbers, not a generic template.
