Which Garmin Should You Buy? I Built a Garmin Finder to Answer That

After five years of testing Garmins, “which one should I get?” is the question I get most. So I built the Garmin Finder: ask it like you'd ask me, take a three-question quiz, or compare models side by side.
Lost in all the Garmin models? I built a tool for that
I've been testing Garmin watches for more than five years now, and the question I get asked most is always the same: which Garmin should I get?
Fair question. There are well over a hundred current models, and the differences between them hide in long spec sheets. But answering everyone personally was getting out of hand. So I built the Garmin Finder, which does what I'd do: listen to what you need, look at what every watch actually has, and point you to the right one.
It gives you three ways to find your watch.
1. Ask it like you'd ask me
Type your budget and what you need in plain language, the way you'd send me a message:
- "I run three times a week and want maps, under $500"
- "Light watch for a small wrist, mostly for sleep and health"
- "Is the fēnix 9 worth it over the fēnix 8?"
The AI advisor answers from the actual specs and current prices of every watch in the Finder, so it suggests watches that really have what you asked for, and tells you plainly when one doesn't.
2. Take the quiz
Not sure what to ask? Answer three quick questions: what you'll mostly use it for, what you want to spend, and what matters most to you day to day. The quiz only offers answers that lead to a real watch, and it lands on the one that genuinely fits all three. How the three questions work →
3. Compare the features that matter
Already have a few models in mind? Browse the full list, search by name, filter on the features you care about, like a flashlight, maps, music, contactless payments or scuba diving, and slide the price range to your budget. Then pick a few and put them side by side: display, battery, storage, water rating, size and every feature, in one table.
Prices include current Garmin sales, and new watches are added as soon as Garmin releases them.
Try it
Whichever way you start, you'll end up with a shortlist that's based on what you need rather than on which watch is the most expensive one you can justify.
