Here's a Garmin feature I bet you didn't know about, and it's called Turn Around.
When you run out and back, you need to flip at exactly the right moment. Miss it and you run too far — or too short. Turn Around solves that.
How it works
Set a target distance or a target time for the alert. When you hit the halfway point, your watch beeps and tells you to turn around. You finish exactly where you want.
Perfect for unfamiliar routes. No GPS planning. No guessing. Just run.
How to set it up
- Open your run profile settings
- Select Alerts
- Choose Add New → Custom
- Select Turn Around
- Set your distance or time
That's it. Next time you head out the door, your watch will tell you exactly when to flip.
